Our Mission and objectives

Our mission is to promote strong mental health for young men across Gloucestershire and its surrounding areas. We strive to raise awareness of the challenges that young men face, and reduce the stigma that still remains around young men's mental health.

Research shows that young men with neurodiverse conditions, such as autism and ADHD are between 5 and 7 times more likely to die by suicide than their neurotypical peers. We aim to develop a better understanding across the local community of what it means to be neurodivergent and the potential mental health risks associated with this. Through raising awareness and understanding, we want communities across and beyond Gloucestershire, to become more inclusive of young men that struggle.

Through the provision of training and support, both for young men themselves, and for those supporting them, we aim to increase understanding of how to spot the signs of poor mental health in young men before it's too late.
